What documents are required?

Level 1 – Basic Identity

At Level 1, users need to enter their nationality, name and document identification number.

Level 2 – Photo ID

At Level 2, users need to prove their identity with a photo ID. They also need to perform facial verification through Netverify.

Level 3 – Disclaimer

After passing the first two levels, users can read the disclaimer on OEx’s mobile app or webpage to complete the third level of authentication.

How do I complete the Level 1 of authentication?

OKx requires you to verify your identity in order to perform certain tasks on the exchange. You may have seen this verification process referred to as KYC (Know Your Customer), and we do this to keep the exchange safe from fraud and other illegal activity.

Without verification, you will still be able to use your account to make deposits, but you will not be able to withdraw funds and your trading will be restricted.

Level 1 requires you to verify your personal information so that we can increase your daily withdrawal limit to the equivalent of 200 BTC.

Verify in the web

Go to the Account Profile icon in the top navigation bar. Click on the icon and select Verify from the drop-down menu.

If you are trading for personal purposes, please select Personal Account. You will be asked to provide a combination of some of the following information, depending on your country

• Nationality
• ID type
• ID number
• Legal first name, middle name and last name

If you have entered valid information, verification should happen immediately.

If you are trading on behalf of a company or organization, please select a company account. You will be asked to provide a combination of some of the following information, depending on your country

• Nationality
• Company name
• Company registration number
• Date of company establishment
• Address and postal code
• Consent document

Verify in the app

In the OKx application, look for the profile icon in the application header. Click on that icon, and then select Verify from the menu. Click on Verify and you will be asked to provide a combination of some of the following information, depending on your

• country.
• Nationality
• ID type
• ID number
• Legal first name, middle name and last name

If you have entered the correct information, verification should be instant and you will see a notification that you have been “approved” for a withdrawal.

How do I complete Level 2 verification of my identity?

Level 2 requires you to further verify your identity with a photo. Once you have verified, your daily withdrawal limit is increased to the equivalent of 500 BTC.

Verify in the web

Go to the account profile icon, found in the top navigation bar. Click on the icon and select Verify from the drop down menu.

You should see a “Verified” status next to Level 1. If you don’t, please complete level 1 first before moving on to the next level. If you are ready to proceed, you will be asked to submit the following

• A photo of the front and back of your ID document
• A photo of your face

All photos will be taken using your webcam or cell phone at the time of verification. You will not be able to upload an existing photo.

Unlike Level 1, Level 2 will take some time to process. You should receive your results within 3 days. If you do not hear from us within that time, please contact support at [email protected].

Verify in the app

In the OKx application, look for the profile icon in the application header. Tap the icon, and then select Verify from the menu. Tap Authentication at level 2.

Your phone may ask you to allow the application to take photos. Tap Allow to continue. Next, you will be asked to take a photo of the following

• The front and back of your ID document
• Your face

All photos will be taken with your phone at the time of verification. You will not be able to upload existing photos.
